At Impact Dance Complex, we believe that being a great dancer means more than mastering technique—it’s about using our art to uplift others, connect with the community, and make a difference. That’s why we were incredibly honored to support Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in two unforgettable events this year: a fundraiser in King of Prussia and our return to the CHOP Prom in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for another season.

Dancing for a Cause in King of Prussia

In spring 2025, our Performance Company was invited to perform at a special fundraising event in King of Prussia, supporting the opening of CHOP’s new KOP location. Surrounded by CHOP staff, patients, families, and supporters, our dancers brought energy, joy, and heart to a night that raised both funds and awareness for pediatric care in the region. Our staff even stayed behind after the performance and led the block party in some fun dances to help celebrate the work the Children’s Hospital does every day.

The event celebrated CHOP’s continued mission to expand access to world-class medical care, and we were proud to contribute through what we do best—dance. With smiles on our faces and purpose in our movement, it was a reminder that dance can truly be a gift.

CHOP Prom 2025: Back by Heartfelt Demand

Following last year’s unforgettable prom appearance, CHOP invited Impact back to help celebrate their annual Prom Night for inpatient children and teens. It’s a night of glitz, glam, and pure joy for patients who may not otherwise get to experience a traditional prom—and we were so humbled to play a small part in making the night magical.

Our dancers lit up the floor with a live performance, then spent time teaching fun choreography and sharing moments with CHOP patients, families, doctors, and staff across different hospital wings. The joy, laughter, and connection reminded us all why giving back is such a core part of our mission at Impact.

More Than Just Dancers

Both events this year were meaningful milestones in our ongoing partnership with CHOP, and they’re a reflection of what we value most at Impact Dance Complex. Yes, we strive to provide top-tier dance education and performance opportunities, but more importantly, we aim to raise thoughtful, compassionate humans. Whether it’s on a competition stage, at a hospital fundraiser, or dancing with patients in a hospital hallway—our dancers continue to show that art has the power to heal, unite, and inspire.
